Locate Vegas Casinos and Hotels
This review guide to gambling on the Vegas Strip shows how to locate the best Las Vegas casinos, find the nicest Las Vegas Hotels, which places have the best restaurants or where can you buy Las Vegas Show Tickets. Buffet of Buffets Package (2 NT Stay + 24 HR Pass 7 Buffets)
The Vegas Strip is the most unique street in the world. The fantasy land architecture, wild 24 hour street party and the general atmosphere will make you want to explore places like the Las Vegas MGM Grand to see the lions, the Bellagio Resort to see the wonderful art or gamble at the famous Caesars Palace. Visiting the different places on the Strip is so popular Las Vegas has a monorail system between casinos to make it easy.
Las Vegas has the world's largest selection of slot machines and the most poker tournaments. Almost any type of gambling is legal from playing craps, roulette, blackjack or even bingo. At Vegas casinos you can even bet on your favorite sport game or horse race.
With the May 16 2011 closing of the Sahara there are now 29 casinos located directly on the Las Vegas Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard). Many have first class hotels, relaxing spas, elegant or casual dinning opportunities, international shopping, desert golf courses, headline entertainment, race and sport book, poker tournaments and of course slot and table game action. A visit to Las Vegas is a life experience.
Taxies will not pick you up on the strip, you must be at a resort entrance or a designated taxi pickup spot. Also, there is no jaywalking, you can only cross Las Vegas Blvd. at major intersections or overhead walkways. The easiest way to explore Las Vegas is to use the monorail system which will move you to both ends of the strip with many stops in between. See the Vegas Casino Map to find monorail locations and schedules.
Casinos in the Old Downtown section and other areas of Las Vegas commonly referred to as "off the strip" are shown on these links Henderson, All Las Vegas Casinos, Las Vegas Downtown and Las Vegas Off-Strip.
