The three largest Louisiana casino resorts are Coushatta Resort in Kinder, Harrah's Hotel near New Orleans and Paragon Resort near Alexandria.
Since the big hurricane most of the casinos were rebuilt or redecorated so they are all like new. Louisiana was the fourth state to approve riverboat gambling and the trend is to convert them all to land based facilities. The legal gambling age is 21 for casino gambling and 18 for betting on the races.
